Thank you for your interest in applying to our Nurse Registry! If you are an exceptional, compassionate and dependable CNA, GNA, LPN or RN and you are looking for a referral service such as Hearts of Ireland to assist you in connecting with private client's seeking in-home services, we would love to meet with you. But before we do so, we want to ensure our registry is the right fit for you.
Application Process:
Applicants must be proficient in all aspects of various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care as provided by clients Physician or Registered Nurse who is independent and part of clients current care team. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of client's in their home, facility or hospital setting. Personal care includes: personal hygiene such as assisting to the bathroom, bathing, care of mouth, and skin and hair care and more. May assist in transfers: from bed to wheelchair, from wheelchair to toilet. Personal caregivers may also provide help such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and other tasks to assist client. Reliable transportation is required!
ALL APPLICANT'S MUST BE COMPETENT IN TAKING VITAL SIGNS, DOCUMENTING, AND REPORTING CONCERNS TO APPROPRIATE PARTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS!
Position Requirements:
Applicant's must have at least 2 years experience working in the home care, assisted living or hospital setting. In addition, applicant's must possess excellent communication skills including reading, writing and speaking English. CNA, GNA, LPN, RN license must be in good standing and active with the Maryland Board of Nursing. Background checks and drug screening is required. Additional screening requirements to be discussed at time of in-person interview. Applicant's must be have own transportation and a clean driving record!
Assignments range from short-term shift work including 1-12 hour schedules, and fill-in shift work as needed during emergencies and inclement weather.
